You probably already know this but Orlando is one of the most visited cities in the country.  With millions of visitors every year from all over the world coming for vacations, weddings, conferences, meetings, there’s bound to be a time that someone is going to be in need of Orlando photo booth rentals.

But with all the options out there, it’s often so hard to choose what company to go with, what photo or video experience to go with and how much you should be budgeting for your booth.  We’re going to touch very briefly on some insightful and helpful tips for choosing the right photo booth and photo booth company for your event needs.  We’ll start with types of booths and work our way to the stuff that’s not always that fun 🙂

These can be amazing little machines if you’re looking for simple, easy, just want people to have a great time, and have a little momento. Typically the image is shot with an ipad style camera and extra lighting can be added.  All around, great photo op for birthday partys, trade show booths etc but doesn’t have the pro quality photo of the DSLR Photo Booth.  Still freakin’ awesome booth.

360 Video Booth

Fan fave.  Stand on a platform, an arm rotates around you while taking a video, lasts just a few second but that video will live forever 🙂 Videos can be shot on anything from iphones, GoPro’s to DSLR’s and again, the quality changes depending on the device used.

What should I look for when choosing a Photo Booth Company for my event?

In choosing a photo booth company for your event you should consider a few things…

  • If you’re holding your event in a small location, you’ll need to consider space for your photo booth.  Booths like the 360 video booth typically need at least a 10×10 space so if you don’t think that would be possible, I would definitely consider the DSLR or Digital selfie booth.
  • Think about how many hours you’d like photo booth service for.  Usually, Orlando photo booth rentals start at a minimum of 2 hours and can go as long as days…weeks…even permanent installations are possible.
  • Decide on the overall “feeling” of your booth.  For many photo booth company’s, it’s all about fun, excitement, props and lights everywhere.  Other photo booth company’s focus on a semi minimalistic approach that focuses on not just having fun, but providing a bit more of an elevated experience.
  • Do you want the photo booth to be your guests partying gift?  Some photo booth companies specialize in providing memorable keepsakes like frames for your prints, flip books, lenticular prints etc and these are great take-aways and so fun too!
  • Be sure to ask your potential photo booth company for complete galleries of their last few events.  It’s so easy these days to pull images off a website and call them your own.  But you’re investing your hard earned money in your event so be sure that the output of the images or videos matches what you’re looking for.
  • Find out if your photo booth company accepts payment plans.  Payment plans are so great and kinda make your wallets feel a little bit better.  Some make you pay all at once while others offer 3, 6 and 9 month plans.  Just be mindful that your payment plan should not extend past your event date and usually final payments are due 7-30 days from the event.
  • If you’ve hit the lottery with the company you’ve chosen and you’re ready to sign that contract…pause.  Pause and ask them to provide you with a copy of their business license and insurance information.  If they provide it, wonderful.  if not, I would highly suggest you find another booth company.  This actually may be the most important thing you can do.
